A secret organisation exists in the comic convention scene. This organisation prides itself on knowing the in’s and out’s of conventions. This piece of information has been gleaned from them and could prove useful to any person wanting to plan their budget for getting sketches at Thought Bubble this year. Below is a list of the prices that artists usually charge at such a convention. This is as up-to-date list as there currently is, being only 2 weeks away from the actual convention. Please note, artists have the right to change their prices and we are not liable for any price changes, this is merely a gathering of information beforehand based on what has been said and previous convention prices.
- Adi Granov – £40 Headshot, £100 greyscale bust, £150 coloured bust.

- Boo Cook:- Free if you wait in line.
- Bryan Talbot will sketch in books purchased
- CAFU:• Any extra characters: 30 each (15 in small size, if they fit!).
- Big 8,27 x 11,70’’ (pencils & inks): 130.
- Big 8,27 x 11,70’’ (pencils): 100.
- Small 5,83 x 8,27’’ (full body): 30 pencils, 45 inks
- Small 5,83 x 8,27’’ (headshot): 15 Pencils, 30 inks.
- Cameron Stewart: Coloured headshot free is you wait in line. £50 full figure
- Charlie Adlard – Usually a small donation to chosen charity, around £20.
- David Aja – Free wait in line.
- David Lloyd – Free wait in line.
- David Petersen:- £40 bust on 9×9
- Declan Shalvey – £30 full body.
- Des Taylor – £30
- Emma Vieceli:- £15 for a headshot.
- Emma Rios- Free
- Esad Ribic – Headshot £40, Inked Full figure £150, Full figure Watercolour £300
- Fiona Staples: “I will be doing quick sketches at the show, but not full commissions. Depending on how busy it is, I met set aside a couple of hours each day for sketching.”
- Fazer Irving £25 for a pencil sketch
- Gary Erskine – Usually £10
- Garen Ewing – £10
- Glyn Dillon might sketch in books people buy on day
- Ian Churchill – £45 headshot, £125 full body.
- Jimmy Broxton – Free. He offered a coloured headshots with his sketchbook to us for £20.
- Jock – Will do a free sketch depending on how he’s feeling. He has done pre show full figure commissions for £150
- John Mcrea – Cheapest ususally £20
- John Watson – usually free
- Kate Beaton (might do sketches on day, wont be charging, but will probably be in books only)
- Kev Walker – usually free
- Lawrence Campbell – Free but limited sessions
- Lee Garbett- was £10 headshot, £20 for 3/4 figure at Bristol
- Marc Laming – £15
- Paolo Rivera – £80 watercolour headshot.
- Phil Noto – $100 full body, $200 full body in colour.
- Phil Winslade: £45 for full body
- Roger Langridge: – usuallly free or £10
- Sean Phillips: £40 water coloured bust.
- Simone Lia, will sketch in books purchased
- Skottie Young: $60 original creation, $80 for an established character, $300 for a water coloured full figure.
